Actor Surya’s 39th film Jay Beam. One of the crowd is directed by film director Gnanavell. The film also stars Karnan actress Rajisha Vijayan in the lead role.
Actor Surya plays a lawyer who advocates for the aboriginal people in this film which talks about the life and rights of the dark aboriginal people.
The film was released in 4 languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The film stars Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, actress Regisha Vijayan and Lijo Mol Jose in the lead roles.
Released on ODT on Diwali in November last year, the film received good reviews around the world. The success of this film has garnered many accolades and awards. ‘Jay Beam’ has also been shortlisted for this year’s Oscars. Similarly, footage of the movie ‘Jay Beam’ was released on the Oscar official YouTube channel a few days ago.
Jay Beam has won three awards at the 9th Noida International Film Festival 2022. Accordingly, Surya has been selected as the best actor and Lijomol Jose as the best actress. In addition, Jaybeam won the Best Picture award.
