jpnn.com – Jay Idzes spoke about his chances of appearing when the Indonesian National Team visits Saudi Arabia’s headquarters in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for the Asian zone.
The Saudi Arabia vs Indonesia match is scheduled to take place at King Abdullah Sport City, Jeddah, Friday (6/9/2024).
Idzes was doubtful about appearing after suffering an injury while playing for his club, Venezia in the Serie A event.
The 24-year-old defender was withdrawn from the pitch in the 68th minute against Fiorentina.
However, Idzes confirmed that his current condition is not a problem.
He is also ready to join the Indonesian National Team to undergo the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification.
“Everything is fine. Nothing serious,” said Jay in a PSSI statement.
“We have a great opportunity in front of us. We will play against great nations and we have a chance to qualify for the World Cup,” he continued.
