Celtics Dominate Pacers in High-Scoring Affair
The Boston Celtics didn’t need to force the issue, rolling past the Indiana Pacers 140-122. Despite a strong start from Indiana, led by Andrew Nembhard’s 18 points, the Pacers couldn’t maintain their offensive pace. Pascal Siakam struggled, scoring 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting.
Boston flipped the script in the second quarter, outscoring Indiana 47-22. A barrage of three-pointers (20 of 39 from beyond the arc) and a dynamic duo of Jaylen Brown (30 points) and Payton Pritchard (29 points) proved too much for the Pacers to handle.
Sam Hauser (23 points), Derrick White (21 points), and Luka Garza (15 points) also contributed to the Celtics’ offensive explosion. This victory marks the Celtics’ fourth straight win, elevating them to third place in the Eastern Conference.

Jazz Stun Pistons with Last-Second Shot
In a stunning upset, the Detroit Pistons fell to the Utah Jazz 129-131. Cade Cunningham delivered a strong performance with 29 points, 17 assists, and 5 rebounds, but Detroit couldn’t contain the Jazz’s offensive firepower.
Keyonte George was the hero for Utah, scoring 31 points and hitting a game-winning floater with just 2.1 seconds remaining. Lauri Markkanen added 30 points, and Brice Sensabaugh chipped in with 20. Ace Bailey suffered a hip injury during the game. Cunningham had a chance to win it at the buzzer, but his shot was contested and missed. This win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Jazz.
Clippers and Suns Continue Winning Ways
Are the Los Angeles Clippers finally turning a corner? The team secured a third consecutive win, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 119-103. The Blazers initially took control, thanks to Deni Avdija (29 points) and Toumani Camara (20 points).
However, the Clippers rallied, led by James Harden (34 points), Kawhi Leonard (28 points), and Brook Lopez (31 points). Lopez was particularly effective from long range, hitting 9 of 16 three-pointers. Leonard sealed the victory in the fourth quarter with 18 points. Despite remaining 13th in the West (9-21), Los Angeles appears to be gaining momentum.
The Phoenix Suns also secured a win, defeating the New Orleans Pelicans 115-108. The game was closely contested for much of the night. Zion Williamson (20 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists) and Jordan Poole (19 points) provided a spark for the Pelicans, despite Poole’s struggles from three-point range (2-of-11).
The Suns relied on the dynamic duo of Devin Booker (30 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists) and Mark Williams (24 points, 13 rebounds). Booker closed the game strong, scoring 12 points in the final quarter, while Williams added 10. An 18-8 run to end the game secured a second consecutive victory for Phoenix.
Bulls Top 76ers, Wizards Down Raptors
The Chicago Bulls continued their strong play, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 109-102. The 76ers, featuring the Big Three of Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Paul George, have now lost four straight games when all three players are in the starting lineup.
Embiid (31 points) and Maxey (27 points, 8 assists) played well, but George (15 points, 12 rebounds) struggled to make a significant impact, shooting 5-of-15 from the field. VJ Edgecombe also had a quiet night, scoring 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting.
The Bulls achieved a balanced offensive performance with six players scoring at least 10 points and nine players scoring at least 7. A highlight of the game was a powerful poster dunk by Jalen Smith on Embiid. Chicago closed the game on a 10-0 run to secure their fifth consecutive win.

The Washington Wizards are no longer the Eastern Conference’s cellar dwellers! They defeated the Toronto Raptors 138-117, abandoning their status as the league’s worst team.
The Raptors struggled defensively, particularly without RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl. Brandon Ingram (29 points) and Immanuel Quickley (25 points) tried to keep Toronto competitive.
However, the Wizards consistently found ways to score. Kyshawn George (23 points), CJ McCollum (21 points), and Bilal Coulibaly (21 points, 8 rebounds) led the charge. Alexandre Sarr also contributed with 15 points and 3 rebounds in 24 minutes. The Raptors have now lost nine of their last 13 games.
Injury Blow for Hornets, Bucks Fall to Grizzlies
The Charlotte Hornets won against the Orlando Magic (120-105) but suffered a potentially serious injury to rookie Could Knueppel. Knueppel had a strong start (16 points in 15 minutes) before landing awkwardly on teammate Moussa Diabaté’s foot during a rebound attempt.
Despite Knueppel’s injury, the Hornets surprised the Magic. LaMelo Ball (22 points on 7-of-20 shooting) led the way, while Diabaté (10 points, 12 rebounds) and Tidjane Salaün (14 points, 9 rebounds) provided valuable contributions off the bench.
The Magic struggled from long range, and Paolo Banchero (13 points on 4-of-13 shooting) had a disappointing performance. Anthony Black (24 points) and Desmond Bane (15 points, 10 rebounds) weren’t enough to overcome the Hornets’ collective effort.
Without Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks were defeated by the Memphis Grizzlies 104-125. The Bucks started strong, with AJ Green (20 points) and Ryan Rollins (15 points) leading the way, building a 10-point lead before faltering.
Memphis took control in the second quarter, outscoring Milwaukee 35-15. Ja Morant (17 points, 10 assists) dictated the tempo, while Jaren Jackson Jr. (24 points, 9 rebounds, 5 blocks) dominated inside. Cam Spencer (19 points) provided a spark off the bench. The Grizzlies are slowly improving their record (15-16).

Heat Overcome Hawks
The Miami Heat easily defeated the Atlanta Hawks 126-111. Norman Powell led the Heat with 25 points, while Kel’el Ware (16 points, 13 rebounds) made an impact inside in Bam Adebayo’s absence.
Without Tyler Herro, the Heat received contributions from Pelle Larsson (21 points) and Andrew Wiggins (18 points). Trae Young (30 points) and Jalen Johnson (24 points, 10 assists, 9 rebounds) fought hard for the Hawks.
However, they lacked sufficient support. Zaccharie Risacher was quiet, scoring 5 points in 20 minutes. The Hawks are struggling defensively and have lost five consecutive games.
