Thiruvananthapuram: Singer P Jayachandran has won the JC Daniel Award 2020. The award recognizes outstanding contribution to the field of Malayalam cinema. The jury judged that Jayachandran is a singer who has made his mark in the Malayalam film playback music scene.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh, a citation and a sculpture. The Chief Minister will present the award at a function to be held in Thiruvananthapuram on the 23rd of this month.
