Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will officiate the presentation of the 2020 JC Daniel Award at 6 pm at the University Senate Hall. Jayachandran will receive the award. Culture Minister Saji Cherian will preside over the function. Minister Antony Raju will deliver the inaugural address.
Following the award presentation, a concert titled ‘Bhavagana Sagaram’ will be held with Jayachandran’s songs. Mayor Arya Rajendran will design the 26th IFFK. JC Daniel Award Jury Chairman Adoor Gopalakrishnan, KSFDC Chairman Shaji N. Karun, Film Music Critic Ravi Menon, Culture Department Principal Secretary Rani George, Film Academy Chairman Ranjith, Vice Chairman Prem Kumar, Secretary C. And Ajoy will be present.
