Jeanie Bass, who inherited the legendary basketball club Los Angeles Lakers from her father, unlike most of us, can do this since the world premiere of the new HBO series “Time to Win: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty” (in Russia premiere project took place on March 7 on the video service Amediateka).
The series tells the story of the rise of the great Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, which became something more than a good ball-playing team. The Lakers, or rather the Buss family that owns it, turned the sport into show business. Jeanie has been involved in this transformation all her life, from her teenage years, when her father carefully brought her into the sports business, to this day, when she is already the sole president and controlling shareholder of the Lakers.
