Jeep has launched the all-new Grand Cherokee in the Indian market. The new Grand Cherokee model is priced at Rs. 77 lakh 50 thousand, ex-showroom has been fixed. Bookings for this model will start from the first week of November itself. The booking fee for this car is Rs. 50 thousand.
The new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine is capable of producing 268 HP of power and 400 Nm of torque. It also comes with the Quadra Track i 4×4 system and four different drive modes namely Sport, Auto, Snow and Sand/Mud.
The exterior of the car gets LED headlamps, famed 7-slot grille, dual LED DRLs, new alloy wheels, roof rails, shark fin antenna, checkered wheel arches, dual exhaust tips on the rear bumper, wrap-around LED tail lights.
The interior gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, dual-tone interior, heads-up display, powered front seats, wireless charging. A 10.25-inch passenger screen is offered for the first time in this segment. 110 advanced safety and security features are provided for safety.
It has active driving assistance system, eight airbags, 360 degree surround view, drowsy driver detection, 3-point seat belt, occupant detection facility for all passengers. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee model is being brought to India in CKD mode. The right-hand drive units of this car are manufactured at the Rangoon plant next to Pune.
