The report examined 2,707 dealerships belonging to 23 different brands to observe how the effects of the transition unfold on the territory for the different big brandsincluding, of course, Jeep.

The survey has highlighted which brands are suffering the most from competition of electrified vehicles, especially those of Chinese production. Jeep is the brand most frequently traded with both GWM and BYD. As for GWM18% of electric and hybrid vehicle sales were also made by accepting a Jeep as part of the payment. Next in line are Toyota with 11%, Volkswagen with 10%, and Chevrolet, Honda and Hyundai, each with 8%, while Fiat stands at 5%.

Also at dealerships BYDJeep is the most popular brand among those choosing to ditch their old one and upgrade to an electric or plug-in hybrid, accounting for 12% of used vehicle trade-in transactions. Hyundai and Volkswagen are tied at 10%. Auto Avaliar, a platform operating in seven countries, currently supports 4,200 dealerships and more than 38,000 independent dealers. The platform generates $1.4 billion in annual sales.
