Doha: As part of the World Cup preparations, the Jeff Koons sculpture installed on the Doha Corniche is attracting the attention of the spectators.
A polychrome mirror-polished stainless steel sculpture ‘Dugong’ by renowned American artist Jeff Koons has been installed on the Corniche. The artwork depicts a manatee standing on sea waves and sea grass.
It is currently located at Al Masra Park on the Corniche, 21 meters high and 31 meters wide. The artwork will be officially inaugurated soon.
