Jen Affleck has filed for divorce from her husband Zac Affleck after more than seven years of marriage, prompting a public exchange on TikTok regarding the reality television couple’s past relationship dynamics.
Jennifer Affleck Files for Divorce in Utah Court
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives personality submitted her divorce petition on Tuesday, November 3, in a Utah court, alongside a proposed parenting plan. The couple shares three children—Nora, Luca, and Penelope—and is expecting a fourth child, whom Jennifer announced she was pregnant with in June.
Zac addressed the separation in a video shared on his TikTok account on Thursday, November 5. The 30-year-old stated that he first learned about the legal proceedings through a news report rather than directly from his wife.
I found out from a TMZ reporter about the filing,

According to Zac, the possibility of ending their marriage had been discussed previously. He claimed that Jennifer had approached him nearly a year earlier, following her appearance on Dancing With the Stars, to state that she was unhappy and wanted a divorce. Zac said he initially urged her to reconsider.
Zac also stated in his November 5 TikTok statement that he would continue to support her and act as her biggest fan, expressing a wish for her happiness in the next phase of life while noting that he intended to focus on his children and determine his next steps. In a statement shared with People on Thursday, November 5, he reiterated that he would always be her supporter. Sources told People that he was doing okay following the filing and that both he and Jen were staying focused on preparing for the baby and supporting their kids. The former couple first met in 2018 on a Mormon dating app called Mutual when Jen was 18 and Zac was 21, and they married in 2019.
Jennifer Shares Throwback Video Criticising Her Appearance
Following Zac’s online statement, in which he asserted he would continue to be her “biggest fan,” Jennifer posted a throwback video from 2022 shot two weeks after she gave birth. In the clip, Zac is heard off-camera addressing her appearance while she recorded a video in her kitchen.

[I] hope you’re not making a TikTok looking like that. … Your boobs are literally like … Your tits are sagging all over. You don’t want to post that, baby, I can tell you that right now.

Jennifer captioned the post, He was never my biggest supporter.
A follower commented on Zac’s video regarding the clip, writing that they would never forgive a spouse for making such remarks shortly after childbirth. Zac subsequently replied in the comments section.
This was a video from 2022. Obviously horrible and should have never been said. When I saw the video today, I was absolutely shocked I had said that. I said a lot of horrible and hurtful things, but I have tried my best to learn and grow.

Jennifer also posted a second, subsequently deleted video showing an argument over a dirty towel on the floor, during which she told him she did the household laundry and would appreciate more assistance.
