In a chilling turn of events, Jenelle Evans’ first husband, Courtland Rogers, suffered an apparent overdose at his home in North Carolina. The audio of the frantic 911 call made by Rogers’ wife on August 28 has been obtained by TMZ, shedding light on the terrifying situation.

In the distressing call, Rogers’ wife described finding him naked on the toilet, making concerning gurgling sounds. She revealed that he had locked himself in the bathroom while she was out with their children and had to break down the door to find him unresponsive.

The dispatcher instructed Rogers’ wife to try and move him off the toilet and lay him flat on his back on the floor, but she found him too heavy to move. She resorted to attempting CPR while desperately trying to revive him.

During the call, she expressed uncertainty about the type of drugs Rogers had taken and lamented the unavailability of Narcan, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses.

Fortunately, paramedics arrived on the scene and Rogers survived. However, no drugs or paraphernalia were found by authorities when they arrived.

Courtland Rogers, who was married to Jenelle Evans from 2012 to 2014, has been vocal in the past about his struggles with drug abuse. He estimates that he has overdosed on five separate occasions and has openly stated that heroin has ruined his life.
