Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are breaking up – again.
As reported by the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, just hours ago, the singer and actress filed for divorce at the Los Angeles Superior Court from her now ex-husband after two years of marriage.
According to TMZ, she filed the divorce application herself without being represented by a lawyer and stated April 26, 2024, as the date of separation.
Without a prenuptial agreement
Sources indicate that the famous couple had not signed a prenuptial agreement.
“She tried very hard to make things work and is hurt,” a source told PEOPLE. “The kids are her priority as they always have been.”
The famous couple officially married in Las Vegas in July 2022 and held an impressive wedding ceremony at Affleck’s estate in Georgia a month later.
It was the fourth marriage for the superstar and the second for the Oscar-winning actor.
