Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are splitting up – again.
According to the Athens News Agency, just a few hours ago, the singer and actress filed for divorce at the Los Angeles Superior Court from her now-ex-husband after two years of marriage.
According to TMZ, she filed the divorce application without being represented by an attorney and stated April 26, 2024, as the date of separation.
Without a prenuptial agreement
Sources report that the famous couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement.
“She tried very hard to make things work and is hurting,” a source told PEOPLE. “The kids are her priority as they always have been.”
The famous couple officially married in Las Vegas in July 2022 and held an impressive wedding ceremony a month later at Affleck’s mansion in Georgia.
It was the fourth marriage for the superstar and the second for the Oscar-winning actor.
