Jensel today signed an agreement for cooperation with the Israeli company EV MOTORS, which operates, among other things, in the field of electric vehicles. As part of the collaboration, Gencel will integrate its systems into EV MOTORS hybrid vehicle charging systems. The companies will plan and establish projects in Israel for charging electric vehicles, using hybrid autonomous charging stations, which are disconnected from the national electricity grid, and with the aim of replacing generators powered by fossil fuels.

The projects of Gencel and EVMOTORS are in fact a pilot that will examine the combination of the two systems to produce and provide solutions of clean and emission-free electricity, at charging stations for charging electric vehicles that are disconnected from the national electricity grid. In addition, the company estimates that the project is expected to position the company in the global electric vehicle charging market and may help promote the company’s business in the company’s target markets, facing new customers in accordance with the company’s goals and business strategy.

The electric vehicle charging stations market is a market that is expected to enjoy significant growth rates in the coming years. According to a report by research and consulting firm Guidehouse Insights, published in October 2021, by 2030, the global electric vehicle charging market is expected to grow to about $ 207 billion.

According to the agreement between Gencel and EV MOTORS, in the pilot phase of the project, EV MOTORS will purchase a number of the company’s systems that have been specifically adapted for implementation in EV MOTORS systems, for installation in several autonomous charging stations, for charging electric vehicles disconnected from the national electricity grid.

Subject to the completion of the pilot, Jensel will supply its systems exclusively in Israel to EV MOTORS, and EV MOTORS will purchase an agreed minimum amount of the company’s systems. EV MOTORS is to use exclusively Gencel systems at all of its charging stations in Israel as long as Gencel meets the future technological criteria as stipulated in the cooperation agreement.
