NVIDIA CEO Argues for Acceleration of Generative AI Development
In a time when some are calling for a pause on the development of generative AI, Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, has made an argument for accelerating the work. According to Huang, AI advances are going to provide the necessary tools to better understand the technology and make it safer.

Huang also highlighted the use of reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) in OpenAI’s ChatGPT as an example of making AI responses more relevant, accurate, and appropriate. He pointed out that RLHF is itself an AI model that adds guardrails to the core AI model, making it safer and more effective.
Furthermore, Huang listed other AI technologies that hold promise for making models safer, including retrieval augmented generation and physics-informed reinforcement learning. He stressed the need for more technological advancements to ensure the safety and effectiveness of generative AI models.
