In addition, Jeonbuk-type mentors provide individual consulting for companies engaged in field innovation activities, supporting the development of 13 sales channels, including support for Samsung Electronics employees to enter shopping malls, supply negotiations for Samsung affiliates including Everland, and export support.
In addition, eight cases of technical support were provided utilizing Samsung Electronics’ expert pool, including technological guidance on cutting tool production, yeast ingredient requests, and layout 3D CAD work.
Governor Kim Kwan-young said, “With the establishment of the first regionally specialized smart factory project being promoted together with Samsung Electronics, we will provide generous support so that it can become a new model for the win-win philosophy of large corporations and regionally-led smart factory projects.”
Kim Dong-wook, head of Samsung Electronics’ ESG & Smart Factory Support Center, said, “During this expo, we began to see visible results in expanding our sales channel through more than 100 purchase consultations and real-time live commerce targeting Jeonbuk companies,” and added, “Samsung Electronics is regionally specialized. “For the success of the Jeonbuk-type smart manufacturing innovation project, which is the first example of a smart factory, we will continue to work with Jeonbuk Self-Governing Province and companies in the province,” he said.
