This competition was held in Kisakalio, Finland from December 8 to 19, 2024, and a total of 21 countries participated and competed fiercely.
The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province curling team, led by coach Kwon Young-il, recorded 5 wins and 1 loss in 6 matches in the women’s Group C preliminary round and advanced to the finals in second place in the group. In the final, the tournament ended with a 7-3 win over Latvia.
With this win, the Jeonbuk Curling Team has emerged as a new powerhouse in the Korean curling world by dominating domestic and international competitions in 2024.
