Jerusalem Design Week: the truth project is underway

Fake news, lies and untruths increasingly widespread in both the digital and analog worlds, a theme that can also be analyzed from a design point of view. This is what the twelfth edition of Jerusalem Design Week, scheduled at the Hansen House Center for Design, Media and Technology in Jerusalem from 22 to 29 June, wants to demonstrate.

With title Lies and Falsehoodsthe event intends to reflect on the one hand on the spread of fake news, false videos and images and disinformation in the digital world, and how these also influence reality, on the other it wants to explore the role of designers in this context, examining the importance of illusion and transparency in design practice. Throughout the week, the Hansen House will be filled with numerous performances, exhibitions and projects from various design disciplines.
