Jesús Echevarría, new director general of the Iberian Press in Galicia

Iberian press has appointed Jesus Echevarria general manager of the communication group in Galicia, an autonomous community where he publishes ‘Faro de Vigo’, the dean of the Spanish press, and ‘La Opinión de A Coruña’, and where ‘El Correo Gallego’ has recently been awarded.

For the last 17 years, Echevarría has been general director of Communication and Institutional Relations of the Inditex Group, from where he has been responsible for the global policy of the company’s image, its corporate messages, institutional links to the areas where it develops its activity and its reputational consistency.
