REPORTAGE – In Israel, Magen David Adom first aiders, often volunteers, of different origins and faiths, work together and share the same values: to serve all populations and to provide relief.
In the basements of the huge building, the operators, staring at the screens, answer the various calls with controlled coolness and in different languages: Hebrew, Arabic, English or French, the team rich in its diversity is able to adapt. You have to understand the situation quickly and react in less than seven seconds.
