Former President Jimmy Morales, current deputy of the Central American Parliament (Parlacen), seeks to reach the Congress of the Republic for the period 2024-2028.

The Registry of Citizens of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) accepted the registration of Jimmy Morales as a candidate for deputy of the National Convergence Front (FCN-Nation).

Meanwhile, Samuel Morales is the candidate for president of FCN-Nación, the former president occupies the first box on the national list, followed by deputy Javier Hernández, who occupies the second box.

In an interview with the media, Morales, 53, referred to his “experience in the presidency” and what he could do working in Congress.
