The county is providing a variety of customized programs such as health, welfare, culture, and daily life services by linking the ‘Bobae Island Ondol Public-Private Cooperation Project’, a citizen happiness service that visits Jindo-gun twice a month, with the Jeonnam Happiness Bus.

An official from the Jo Do-myeon Senior Citizens Association expressed their gratitude, saying, “It was a really happy time for the volunteer group to come all the way on a boat to ask about the well-being of the seniors and take care of their health.”

A resident of Singi Village said, “Thanks to the recommendation of the Jeonnam Fishing Village Specialized Support Center, all the residents in our village had a festival-like day together,” and “I hope the volunteer group, including college students, will continue to live together in our village,” causing a lot of laughter. I also made a bet.

In Singi Village, 13 residents who acquired barista certifications expressed their gratitude by serving coffee they made themselves to volunteers and college students.

An official from Jindo-gun said, “We are deeply grateful to the volunteer group that visited the village together with the public and private sectors, became companions for the elderly and implemented various health and welfare services,” and added, “We will continue to promote on-site welfare services centered on the Bobae Island Ondol public-private cooperation project to help marginalized people. “We will do our best to ensure that there are no residents,” he said.
