Automobile tax is notified twice every year in June and December, but if you pay it in a lump sum in January, you can deduct 4.58% of the annual tax amount, which is 5% of the tax amount from February to December.
If vehicle ownership is transferred or scrapped after late payment, the automobile tax due after the date of ownership transfer or vehicle cancellation will be refunded. For vehicles that were paid late last year, if there are no changes to the vehicle, a bill will be sent with the deducted amount even without a separate application. .
Applications for annual automobile tax payment for 2025 can be made by calling or visiting the Jindo County Office Tax and Accounting Department, and applications and payments can also be made at Witax from the 16th.
A Jindo-gun official said, “The automobile tax annual payment system is a good opportunity to receive a tax reduction,” and added, “Since payment is linked even when moving or vehicle ownership is transferred, there is no fear of double taxation and it is convenient.”

The performance sharing meeting for resident artists will be held in the gallery on the second floor of Okjugol Creative Center until the end of January this year.
