He said that the company’s customer base and data usage is constantly increasing.
Increased demand for Jio AirFiber
Mukesh Ambani said that it has been only 8 years since Reliance Jio was launched. But in these eight years, Jio has achieved the feat of becoming the world’s largest mobile data company. Jio is also one of the world’s largest companies in terms of digital home service. Jio provides digital service to more than 3 crore homes. Jio AirFiber aims to reach a record 10 crore homes by connecting 10 lakh homes every 30 days. Let us tell you that Jio AirFiber is a wireless Wi-Fi service, which offers speed like the fastest broadband network. It is excellent for those areas where optical fiber cable is not available.
5G data consumption will increase when the price of 5G smartphones becomes cheaper
Mukesh Ambani presented the roadmap for bringing 2G customers to 4G. He said that as 5G phones become more affordable, the pace of 5G adoption on Jio’s network will increase, leading to a rapid increase in data consumption. And as more users move to 5G networks, the quality of our 4G network will increase. Due to which Jio will be in a position to include more than 20 crore 2G users in India to Jio’s 4G family.
