Reliance Jio, India’s No.1 network, has launched a new Rs 259 recharge plan. The extra special is that this plan is valid for a whole month.
It is noteworthy that this is the first time that a calendar month valid plan with unlimited calls has been introduced, compared to the plans of telecom companies.
Troy ordered
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has recently issued a notice of great relief to consumers. Telecommunications companies, which announce prepaid recharge plans that are valid for one month, have been testing users by offering only 28 days validity.
Troy has now taken action, following a number of complaints. According to an order issued by Troy, telecom companies are required to submit recharge plans valid for 30 days instead of 28 days. In addition, Troy said in the order that project details, which are valid for 30 days, must be submitted within 60 days.

According to TRAI’s new order, every telecom company must submit at least one project voucher, one special payment voucher and one combo voucher. It should be valid for a full 30 days instead of 28 days. If customers want to recharge these plans, they can do so from that date.

In this case, the price of the one month validity plan introduced by Geo has been fixed at Rs. 257. It offers 1.5GB of data per day. Once the daily limit is reached, users can use the internet at speeds of up to 64Kbps. Additionally, unlimited voice calling is available. Also, 100 SMS per day will be provided.
