A few days before the kick-off of the 11th games of the islands, the ministers designated as coaches in the various sports disciplines present at the next games are busy providing their support to the athletes during the regroupings.

The controversy has swelled in recent days after a letter from 16 sports federations which leaked on social networks. They raised their voices and denounced anomalies in the general coordination of the games. This is not the first time that the federations denounce the lack of means intended for the groups of athletes. In their letter, these federations mention in particular difficulties for accommodation, catering, medical, transport and equipment materials. The sixteen federations even gave an ultimatum to the State until yesterday to find a solution, failing which they pack up and send the athletes home.

As of yesterday, the various ministers rushed to try to put out the fire. The Minister of Transport and Meteorology, Valéry Ramonjavelo and the Minister of the Environment, Marie Orléa Vina offered T-shirts and tracksuits and distributed group bonuses for weightlifters and those involved in the disabled sport .

The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Edgard Razafindravahy, meanwhile, met the badminton players in Vontovorona and handed over shoes and shuttlecocks.
