Kochi: The trailer of the movie “Kooman” directed by Jithu Joseph starring Asif Ali is here. The trailer hints that the film will have a very mysterious background. Asif Ali is playing the lead role for the first time in Jeethu Josephine’s film. Kooman is produced by Listyn Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames and Alvin Antony under the banner of Ananya Films. Written by KR Krishnakumar.
Twelfth Man, which was earlier directed by Jeethu, was also written by Krishnakumar. This is their second film together. The story of the film takes place in a hilly village on the Kerala Tamil Nadu border. A very strict police officer gets transferred to a local police station where people from different cultures live together. His harsh nature turns the lives of the people associated with that police station and the hero upside down. The normal events of that village turn into the extraordinary. The hero’s journey after that leads the film to be a thriller and the story line of “Kooman”.
