JMPLA prepares more than 100,000 young people for higher education entrance exams

News from Angola – Around 144,000 young people from the country’s eighteen provinces are benefiting from a free preparatory course for the entrance exams to Higher Education, which runs from the 24th of June to the 24th of this month, in an initiative of the Youth of the Popular Movement of Liberation of Angola (MPLA).

In this edition of the Free Preparatory course, students will be trained by experienced teachers in Portuguese, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History and general culture.

On a visit this Friday (4th), a delegation headed by the First National Secretary of JMPLA, Crispiniano dos Santos , assessed the levels of organization and functioning of the course in the municipality of Luanda, which includes 780 students.

Crispiniano dos Santos, when interacting with the young trainees, made it known that it is becoming increasingly necessary for young Angolans to invest in academic and technical-professional training, as a fundamental way to contribute to the various sectors of the country, thus creating bases for the so desired sustainable development.

The youth leader said that JMPLA will continue to contribute to the development of young people’s cognitive, technical and professional capacity with concrete actions, as we are doing now, facilitating their access to schools, universities and technical-training centres. professionals.

“It must be clear that we have no intention of politicizing education, we are really concerned with helping young people to look at alternatives, to leave behind bad practices and to invest in studying with excellence, being able to benefit from the opportunities that the country offers, despite the challenges, the Angolan Executive has been investing heavily in youth human capital, training them and supporting them with internal and external scholarships, with satisfactory results, especially in recent years”, he clarifies.

The initiative supported by JMPLA, takes place throughout the country, with the aim of helping young people with financial difficulties to pay for a preparatory course for entering the University and which is part of the permanent actions of social responsibility of the Organization.
