The much talked about Nadirsha-Jayasurya movie ‘Eesho’ is all set for an OTT release. Sony Live OTT ‘Iso’ will be released soon through the platform. It is learned that Sony has acquired the broadcasting rights of the film for the highest amount a Jayasurya film can get. The location was Kuttikkanam and Mundakkayam.
There was a lot of controversy surrounding the name of this movie. The film has been awarded a Censor Board Clean U certificate. “This is a clean entertainer film that can be watched with the family without the cuts and mutts,” said director Nadirsha. Some Christian groups have accused the name “Iso” of being a tag line that offends religious sentiment. Nadirsha, however, said that the name would not be changed and the tagline ‘Not from the Bible’ would be changed.
‘Eesho’ is directed by Nadirsha with Jayasurya, Jafar Idukki and Namitha Pramod in the lead roles. Produced by Arun Narayan under the banner of Arun Narayan Productions, the film also stars other prominent Malayalam actors.
