He is known for his toughness, but on Friday Joachim Llambi showed an unusually soft side. The “Let’s Dance” juror was overwhelmed by his emotions.
Great feelings at “Let’s Dance“: In the ninth edition on Friday evening, the celebrity candidates’ “Magic Moments” were on the agenda – and with it the farewell to Tony Bauer. The comedian danced on the RTL show for the last time before he had to leave early for health reasons. You can read more about this here.
Although the dance with partner Anastasia Stan was not judged by the jury this time, Tony Bauer gave it his all. “My grandma once said: ‘Only what the heart says can touch the heart,'” he announced in the clip – and he succeeded without a doubt. During his performance, tears flowed from the other candidates, the audience and the jury.
Joachim Llambi gives Tony Bauer a special ten points
Motsi Mabuse cried bitterly and even the usually tough Joachim Llambi was overcome by his emotions. Visibly moved, he stood up after Tony’s performance and hugged him. “You didn’t even get ten points from me, today you get them,” he explained and handed the 28-year-old a jersey from their favorite club, MSV Duisburg, with the number 10 on the back.
An emotional TV moment for the 59-year-old that viewers rarely see from such a softer side. “Mr. Llambi, don’t cry now,” moderator Daniel Hartwich tried to lighten the mood – but the juror was already wiping his eyes.
At the end, Tony Bauer himself caused laughter again when he also presented Joachim Llambi with a gift: the tight cowboy costume with a cutout on the bottom that he had worn during his performance last week. “I will honor it,” promised the “Let’s Dance” professional before his former protégé was bid farewell to thunderous applause.
