The Spanish MotoGP rider Joan Mir (Repsol Honda) briefly changed the motorcycle for the Repsol aerobatic plane of Juan Velarde, with whom he ‘danced’ in the air at more than 350 kilometers per hour and who came to let the champion of the world will pilot for a few moments.
Repsol brought together two very different pilots but with speed as a common point at the Casarrubios del Monte Aerodrome (Madrid), where Joan Mir lived the experience of G Forces in all its splendor flying and enjoying Velarde’s pirouettes.
The aerobatic flight pilot joined the Balearic pilot at a Box Repsol event in which Mir was even able to take the controls for a second of an Extra 330 aerobatic flight plane, with which Velarde regularly competes.
