FC Bayern’s new signing João Palhinha did not come to Munich alone. The footballer brought his wife Patrícia with him – and she is no stranger.
With João Palhinha, FC Bayern Munich has a new midfield star. The Portuguese is starting a new chapter in his football career at the club, which, according to his contract, could last until June 30, 2028. He is not the only one heading to the south of Germany. His Patrícia Palhinha is accompanying him along with their son. In addition to her husband, the player’s wife also has many fans.
Unlike João Palhinha, Patrícia’s number of followers on Instagram is not in the six-digit range, but many people are also interested in her life. She reaches 79,400 people with her posts on the image and video platform. Some of them may know her from TV, among other things. In 2021, she appeared in the Portuguese singing show “All Together Now”. She is still musically active three years later, because as she states on her Instagram profile, she works as a singer.
However, she seems to have other interests. As her social media account says, she is currently studying dentistry. She does not say which semester she is in and does not give much insight into her student life. Instead, she likes to share pictures of her outfits and her family. She and João Palhinha became parents of a son in October 2022.
She wrote on photos that show her with little João Maria and her partner João Palhinha in the clinic shortly after the birth of the baby: “We want to grow with you, hold your hand and show you the world that awaits you! Welcome my son!” Last May, he was baptized in the Portuguese city of Braga. It was a perfect day, his mother raved on Instagram afterwards. “Thank you to all the special people who came,” she wrote on the platform.
João and Patrícia Palhinha have been a couple since the end of 2019. A few years after they met, they got engaged and married. In May 2022, they announced that they were expecting a baby.
