After Faustão was admitted to the same hospital where Silvio Santos was, João Silva clarifies his father’s health status
The presenter João Silva, son of Faustão, reassured fans this Saturday, 08/17, by revealing details about his father’s health. Fausto Silva had been admitted to the Albert Einstein Hospital, the same place where Silvio Santos was, last Thursday, 08/15.
For the columnist Fábia Oliveira, from Metrópoles, João confirmed that his father is doing well and is at home. “My father is fine! He is at home! He goes every week for treatment, he is not hospitalized”, he said.
It is worth noting that Luciana Cardoso, wife of Fausto, had already explained that the communicator goes to the facility at least twice a week, and that is part of the recovery process from transplants. In February of this year, Silva underwent a kidney transplant and last year, he faced a heart transplant.
Tribute
Fausto is undergoing treatment at the same hospital where Silvio Santos was hospitalized in recent weeks and passed away this Saturday, 08/17. On social media, Faustão’s son paid tribute to the owner of SBT and a Brazilian television icon.
“Today Brazil says goodbye to a legend of Brazilian television, it is a sadness for everyone and especially for us who work in communication. Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure of knowing him, but the memory of him as a communicator will remain in my heart. May God comfort the heart of this wonderful family that I like and admire so much!”, said Fausto’s son.
