Such was the case of American actors Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, who played the Joker and Harley Quinn, respectively, in the film ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, directed by Todd Phillips.
Given what was shown in the film, which shows more of the madness and intensity with which the Joker moves through that insane world that idolizes him and recognizes in him a total figure who is capable of anything, of moving and breaking anyone, and even romance with Harley Quinn, the actors earned a standing ovation for 11 long minutes.
