Job Description
The Regional IT Crime Center, located in Helsingborg, is responsible for providing IT support and expertise to the region. The center assists investigators with IT elements in their investigations, conducts IT forensic evidence securing from digital media, and investigates complex cyber crimes and internet-related sexual abuse of children.
The Police Region South is now looking for a qualified individual to lead a new group that will focus on investigating internet-related sexual abuse of children. The group will consist of investigators and a team leader.
The ideal candidate is expected to participate in the development work at the section and be part of the management team at the Regional IT Crime Center. They will also collaborate with group managers at the center nationally and with the national IT crime center.
Qualifications
The job opening requires a police degree or other relevant academic education, along with at least 6 months of continuous experience as a supervisor, project manager, or similar role within the last five years. The ideal candidate should also have experience in change and development work, as well as investigative activities.
Additional qualifications include investigative experience from crimes against children, experience in leading teams towards set goals and results, familiarity with police organization’s operations management and leadership, and training in management at a direct level.
Personal qualities and leadership skills will be given great emphasis during the selection process.
