The group leader will be responsible for leading the intelligence group, which works with intelligence-based reconnaissance and ongoing preliminary investigations in the area of serious crimes. The group also collaborates with external actors such as customs. Flexibility and event-driven scouting are essential for this role.

Job Description:

As the head of the intelligence group, you will report to the head of the section and be part of the investigation section’s management team. You will be jointly responsible for carrying out assignments and driving the agency’s change and development work. Your main responsibility will be leading the intelligence group’s activities and ensuring results. You will represent the entire Police Authority internally and externally, working to strengthen trust in police operations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of continuous experience as a supervisor, project manager, or similar role within the last five years. A police degree in accordance with the Police Ordinance is required, along with experience in change and development work. Additional qualifications include experience in leading others towards set goals, participation in management forums, and collaboration with social actors outside the police organization.
