The investigators work against organized crime and conduct independent investigations under the direction of a police investigator or prosecutor.
To be eligible for the position, candidates must have a police degree or academic degree deemed relevant by the employer. Additionally, good communication skills in Swedish, a B driving license (manual gearbox), and proficiency in the Office package, particularly Excel, are essential. Experience in investigative work, analytical work, and interpretation and application of laws and regulations is considered advantageous.
The role of an investigator requires self-motivation, responsibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. It also demands flexibility, adaptability, and the capacity to handle stressful situations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary due to extensive internal and external contacts.
