Stockholm, Sweden – The National Operations Department (Noa) has announced job openings for case managers in the subject area of ​​violent extremism. The positions are based in Stockholm and fall under the intelligence unit of the organization.

Noa, responsible for leading and coordinating national and international police activities, aims to enhance security and reduce crime in Sweden. The intelligence unit plays a crucial role in collecting, processing, analyzing, and sharing intelligence for intelligence-led police operations domestically and internationally. The unit comprises the intelligence section, the intelligence coordination section, the financial police section, and an office group.

The case managers in this role will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and sharing necessary information related to violent extremism. Their work will provide the foundation for management decisions and operational measures. This may involve producing and maintaining situational pictures, collaborating with relevant authorities, and contributing to the development of the subject area’s work. Business trips, both nationally and internationally, may be required at times.

Applicants should have experience in the subject area of violent extremism or relevant related areas, a police degree and/or post-secondary education, and strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English. Swedish citizenship is also required. Additional advantageous qualifications include experience in information analysis, collaboration with other authorities, work in law enforcement agencies, intelligence work, and proficiency in languages beyond Swedish and English.

The ideal candidate should possess a structured, analytical, and flexible approach to their work. Strong cooperation skills, pedagogical abilities, and the capacity to work well within teams are highly valued. A high degree of integrity with a focus on security, confidentiality, and sound judgment is essential.
