Police Authority Seeking PHS Students for Investigator Positions in Stockholm County
The Police Region West in Stockholm County has announced exciting opportunities for PHS students who want to work as investigators in serious crimes during the summer months of June-August. The deadline to apply for these positions is January 16, 2024.

The Police Region West consists of the counties of Halland and Västra Götaland, with approximately 5,700 employees working to carry out the police’s core mission in the 55 municipalities. The police areas in the region are organized into various units to support police operations.
The selected PHS students will work in the Halland police area, including the municipalities of Halmstad, Varberg, and Kungsbacka. The job responsibilities will include supporting the business with various investigation tasks, such as holding interrogations, handling documentation of seizures, ordering forensic investigations, and more.
To qualify for this position, applicants must be students at police training and have completed semester 3. Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish, good computer skills, and previous work experience are also necessary. Previous experience in investigative work and dealing with people in vulnerable situations is advantageous.
