Washington: US President Joe Biden has warned that the number of Kovid patients and deaths could rise sharply as the winter heats up.
Biden’s warning comes in the wake of the widespread use of the Omicron variant. The World Health Organization (WHO) warned yesterday that omicron has greater diffusion power than other variants of the corona.
Omicron is currently reported in 77 countries. The study also revealed that Omicron is spreading 70 times faster than the Delta variant. But there are indications that the health of patients is not deteriorating. Omicron has already been confirmed in 36 states in the United States.
