Actor John Travolta’s latest job will be to play a pilot who is capable of avoiding a plane crash. The short film, produced by Alfonso Cuarón, is based on the novel ‘The Shepherd’ by Frederick Forsyth and will premiere on the Disney + platform on December 1.

One of the things that led Travolta to accept the role was having lived an experience quite similar to the one recounted in the story. In fiction, a plane suffers an electrical failure in its aircraft and only the expertise of the character played by the American interpreter saves a total tragedy.
