According to reports, Johnny Depp is dating married lawyer Joel Rich, who represented him in a libel trial in the UK two years ago. “The chemistry between them is heavenly,” said an insider about their romance. “It’s serious between them. They are the real thing.” Rich, who is in the process of divorcing her husband, met the Pirates of the Caribbean star when he sued The Sun newspaper in 2018 for calling him a “woman beater”.

It was personal,” the source said. Depp first sued Britain’s Sun for printing allegations Heard made, detailing instances of abuse, and lost in November 2020. He then sued his ex-wife in the US and won in June.
