Just before leaving his post as British Prime Minister and in the shadow of the hot weather, Boris Johnson boarded a Typhoon fighter jet and held control of the plane for a while alongside a skilled fighter pilot.

“I dragged the joystick right back and we made a loop in a loop,” Johnson described to the media at the end of the flight. “After three happy years at the cockpit, making some pretty difficult if not amazing achievements, I’m going to transfer control smoothly to someone else.”

Johnson’s flight has drawn criticism from the opposition and has led to allegations that Johnson has been absent from important discussions since announcing his resignation as prime minister.

Jason himself is expected to leave his post in the coming months after about three years laden with political storms in Britain alongside the corona plague and war in Ukraine.
