In addition, Johnson said: “US President Joe Biden has provided Western leaders with intelligence that Russia does not plan to invade Ukraine not only from the eastern Donbas region, but also from Belarus and the region surrounding Kiev.”

Biden is expected to convene the National Security Council to discuss tensions between Moscow and Kiev, against the backdrop of heavy exchanges of fire that have begun in recent days between pro-Russian rebels and the Ukrainian army in the east of the country.
