The Infectious Disease Control Team is responsible for the prevention, control and detection of infectious diseases. This is done by tracing sources and contacts and providing information and (policy) advice to residents and municipalities about IJsselland about the risks of infectious diseases. In addition, our team often collaborates with hospitals, laboratories, general practitioners and the RIVM, among others.

What are you going to do?

As an infectious disease control physician, you perform the following tasks under the supervision of the M&G/infectious disease control physician;

Are you ultimately responsible for handling reports of infectious diseases. Coordinate the control in case of outbreaks. Perform your surveillance. Supervise the nurses in terms of content. Contribute to the training of students and trainees. and scientific research. Contribute to (policy) proposals and contribute to prevention programs. Maintain the chain partner network.

What are you bringing?

We are looking for a doctor who:

Has an interest in public health and more specifically infectious disease control. Has a valid BIG registration. Has experience with and/or interest in scientific research and/or carrying out projects. Has a driving license B and has a car.

An exciting and varied job in a challenging organization. It concerns a position of 24-36 hours (permanent formation). The employment contract is for the time being for one year, after which extension or permanent employment is possible. A salary that depends on education and experience and is determined in job scale 11 of the CAO SGO . This includes a gross monthly salary of at least €4020 to a maximum of €5725 based on full-time employment. An environment that invites you to keep pushing the boundaries of your professional competence. The possibility to be seconded to a knowledge institute for 1 day a week; you are also periodically deployed in a regional context (24-hour on-call service) for which you receive a fee. Attention to a good work/life balance through programs in the field of vitality and health, paid parental leave, spending space in leave and allowances based on an individual choice budget of 17.05% on top of your regular salary. Depending on your activities, you will work at home partly and partly at the office.
