The Gothenburg district court is one of Sweden’s largest district courts with approximately 250 employees. At the district court, there are six judicial case divisions and one administrative division. Our mission is to maintain a legally secure and efficient administration of justice of high quality. The work with us is significant and fulfills one of society’s most important functions.

The district court is located in modern premises at Ullevi in central Gothenburg and is an open and modern workplace with committed employees. At the court, work is constantly underway to develop the business.

Through these approaches, a common view of the district court’s mission is created and the workplace is characterized by professionalism, well-being, and cohesion.

About the work

We are now looking for one or more administrators for the registration unit belonging to the administrative department. The department is divided into four units with the task of supporting core operations in the areas of internal service, security, registry, archive and exchange, board coordination, finance, HR, IT, etc.

As an administrator at the registration unit, you have an important role in an exciting and eventful business. The work involves, among other things, receiving, registering and distributing documents in cases and cases. The Registration Unit also handles application fees and reviews payment of fees which you will also work with.

The work also includes other important tasks such as internal service and external service in terms of information to the public and the release of public documents. It may also be relevant with other administrative tasks within the court, such as e.g. to support with, for example, switchboard telephony and invoice handling, etc.

Qualifications

We want applicants to have a 3-year high school education. It is advantageous if you have a post-secondary education in service and administration.

Experience of service-oriented administrative work is advantageous. If you have previous experience of administrative work in court, it is particularly advantageous.

The role of administrator requires that you are used to and familiar with working with IT support. You have a very good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Additional language skills are meritorious. You must have a high sense of service, cooperation and problem-solving, as well as be responsible and independent in your work. You care about maintaining good communication, have a structured way of working and are meticulous in everything you do.

We attach great importance to your personal qualities such as having good judgment, being responsible and thorough. It is important that you can independently organize your work and prioritize among your tasks, as the workload is periodically high.

As an administrator, you will have many contacts that include colleagues within the court as well as the public and other authorities. The work requires that you have very good collaboration skills and can deliver solutions together with your colleagues.

Terms of employment

The position is one or more permanent full-time positions. Permanent employment begins with a six-month probationary period.
