There is no doubt that Yehuda Levy has been flourishing recently. Just a week ago, he won the Best Actor award at the prestigious European Series Festival “Series Mania”. The position he won is the son of an ultra-Orthodox rebbe. The festival is considered the most prestigious competition in the world for TV series, so winning the coveted category is a great honor.
Today (Monday) Keshet 12 announced that Levy is being cast for the new series “The Enemy Within Us” and is expected to play no less than the head of the GSS!
The new “The Enemy Within” series, created by Ron Leshem, Amit Cohen and Daniel Amsel, will deal with the world of the end of privacy and the ability of hostile elements, alongside the state and its institutions – to break into any mobile phone, camera or computer, and spy on our most hidden secrets.
Yehuda Levy will play the character of the GSS chief in the shaky month of his professional and personal life: the discovery of the most serious leak in the organization’s history that will lead to suspicions in all those close to him.
The series will be directed by Ofir Lubel, producers Shenhar Productions, and is expected to be released during the year for filming and on request 12.
In the past decade, Keshet has invested about half a billion NIS in original series and in the coming year is expected to invest more than 100 million NIS in the production and development of 10 original Israeli dramas.
