jpnn.comJAKARTA – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) witnessed the marriage contract of celebrity couple Thariq Halilintar and Aaliyah Massaid on Friday (26/7).
The President was a witness from the groom’s side and the Chairman of the MPR RI Bambang Soesatyo was a witness from the bride’s side at the marriage ceremony, which was held in Jakarta and broadcast on the Thariq Halilintar YouTube channel.
After the marriage vows were delivered, President Jokowi and Bambang Soesatyo were seen nodding their heads and stating that their marriage was valid.
President Jokowi said “alhamdulillah” and smiled at the bride and groom after the ijab kabul process was completed.
The President also witnessed the signing of the marriage documents and the handover of a dowry in the form of Rp26,072,024 in cash, like a collection of numbers indicating the date of the wedding.
The President attended the wedding of Thariq Halilintar and Aaliyah Massaid with Mrs. Iriana.
The President was seen wearing a black suit and cap, while Mrs. Iriana wore a green kebaya with a matching shawl.
President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana congratulated the bride and groom and their families and shook hands with them before leaving the event venue. (between/jpnn)
