jpnn.comJAKARTA – PDI Perjuangan spokesperson Mohamad Guntur Romli thinks the public will smile at the rebuttal of the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who claimed that he had asked for three terms as head of state.

“It has become a laughing stock for the public,” he said via messaging service, Wednesday (31/12).

Because, said Guntur Romli, the public is very aware of the people in Jokowi’s circle who are advocating for an extension of the term of office or three terms for the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Jokowi, he said, never punished people in the former Jakarta governor’s circle who played on the issue of extending the President’s term of office or three terms.

“Never gave warnings or sanctions,” continued Guntur Romli.

The social media activist noted that figures who had raised the issue of extending the term of office or three terms for the President of the Republic of Indonesia were Airlangga Hartarto, Muhaimin Iskandar, Zulkifli Hasan, Bahlil Lahadalia, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, and Tito Karnavian.

According to Guntur Romli, Jokowi, on the other hand, once said that the issue of the three terms of the President of the Republic of Indonesia was like slapping and putting the former Mayor of Solo in a bad light.

However, he said, the slapping speech seemed like a political drama because the figure who had said three terms was a person in Prabowo Subianto’s government circle.

PDIP spokesperson Guntur Romli thinks the public is just laughing at Jokowi’s denial about asking for a three-term presidential term.
