jpnn.com – SOLO – President Joko Widodo or Jokowi inaugurated Jongke Market in Solo, Central Java, Saturday (27/7).
The inauguration was carried out following the completion of the rehabilitation process for the infrastructure project.
Jokowi arrived at Jongke Market at around 07.45 WIB. The President arrived accompanied by First Lady Iriana Jokowi.
Arriving at the location, the two immediately headed inside the market to review and interact with the traders.
The President also gave T-shirts to traders and buyers. He was also seen interacting with residents.
In his speech, Jokowi invited residents to compare the current condition of Jongke Market with the previous one.
According to Jokowi, current market conditions are much better than before.
“I myself was also surprised to see a market like this. In my opinion, even malls are losing,” he said.
President Jokowi inaugurated Jongke Market in Solo, Central Java. According to him, the current market is much better than before, even malls are inferior.
